Whether discrimination is based on race, sex, religion, nationality, or ethnicity, there have been various reasons which have facilitated stereotyping and divided society. To eradicate stereotyping, it is essential to understand and define stereotypes so that it can be both effectively removed and awareness created to establish an equal society. Stereotyping can be defined as the traditions of the society that segregate and force minority communities to suffer humiliation, discrimination, and abuse in the hands of the majority. The dominating groups have established themselves as more powerful and chosen to lay down the rules and regulations of society.
